As the GBVSAR is a totally volunteer organization, our members hold fundraising activities throughout the year to allow the team to continue to be able to provide search and rescue services to the OPP and local police forces.

Here is one of members serving up sausages and hotdogs at the Elmvale Fall Fair in 2007.

Susan and Zori training, Oct 28, 2008. Susan Read of the GBVSAR K-9 Unit and Zori, a Belgian Malinois, train every chance they get.

Zori is one of four OPP certified civilian search and rescue dogs in Ontario.

Susan Read and Zori routinely present demonstrations of the GBVSAR K-9 Unit. Recently the K9 unit performed for a group of Army Cadets. Zori, Susan and Army Cadet Demo.
